Boğaç Sanal charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boğaç Sanal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Boğaç Sanal hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Abdülhak Özben showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fikret Aymaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Abdullah Ataergin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dargecit's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdullah Ataergin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kalkangücü's zone, Nejat Nafi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdülhak Özben came out of the goal and Nejat Nafi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdullah Ataergin struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Abdülhak Özben didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dargecit. 24 minutes into the game, Abdullah Ataergin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abdülhak Özben. Abdullah Ataergin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Cesur Raci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdülhak Özben having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Nejat Nafi had to leave the field with a concussion. After 30 minutes, Aybars Karay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kalkangücü and the Dargecit players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cesur Raci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fikret Aymaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdülhak Özben having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aybars Karay was the one to do the kick off. Dargecit's Hamdi Ağın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gazanfer Özcan Özmert in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesur Raci in the 76th minute of play forced Kalkangücü's goalkeeper Abdülhak Özben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cesur Raci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Cesur Raci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dargecit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Dargecit's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
