Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yusuf Bahadır Yazgan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tugay Ünsal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sogukkuyu's Yusuf Bahadır Yazgan in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aricak's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute Tugay Ünsal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Baki Şahabeddin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes Aricak got a freekick which was hit by Yunus Şahvar. 18 minutes into the match, Aricak's goal looked a bit too open when Yusuf Bahadır Yazgan came free, but Ahmet Baki Şahabeddin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sogukkuyu booed when Aricak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salih Maksut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Baki Şahabeddin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yusuf Bahadır Yazgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yusuf Bahadır Yazgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Baki Şahabeddin having to interfere. Ahmet Baki Şahabeddin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yusuf Bahadır Yazgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 played minutes Aricak got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa İzzet Ciray. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Yusuf Bahadır Yazgan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sogukkuyu's supporters rose to their feet, but Yusuf Bahadır Yazgan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Baki Şahabeddin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Yusuf Bahadır Yazgan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Baki Şahabeddin was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Balaban Hendekli was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Sogukkuyu getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Korhan Baytekin hit a great ball. Aricak's Ahmet Baki Şahabeddin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yusuf Bahadır Yazgan in the 54th minute of play. After 55 minutes, Erim Ulutay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aricak and the Sogukkuyu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cemalettin Özerhan, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yusuf Bahadır Yazgan in the 62nd minute of play forced Aricak's goalkeeper Ahmet Baki Şahabeddin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gökalp Cevan's late challenge caught a Sogukkuyu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gökalp Cevan helped the player get up and apologised. Gökalp Cevan kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Ahmet Baki Şahabeddin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Batı Hamurcuoğlu. During the 70th minute of the match Erim Ulutay completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Erim Ulutay a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Aricak getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Erim Ulutay hit a great ball. Yusuf Bahadır Yazgan struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Ahmet Baki Şahabeddin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sogukkuyu. Ahmet Baki Şahabeddin stood somewhat misplaced when Yusuf Bahadır Yazgan came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 79 minute. In the 85th minute, Aricak's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Yusuf Bahadır Yazgan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tugay Ünsal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Ahmet Baki Şahabeddin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aricak's Ahmet Baki Şahabeddin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yusuf Bahadır Yazgan in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Aricak's goalkeeper Ahmet Baki Şahabeddin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tugay Ünsal. Sogukkuyu played a much better game than Aricak and deserved their victory. The Aricak players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
