Tuğrul Canal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, Baskın Çetinay notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Laleli FK's Türker Samih. Türker Samih was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th minute, Erdeniz Perkel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuğrul Canal in the 14th minute of play forced Laleli FK's goalkeeper Türker Samih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, Laleli FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aydemir Sarıalp to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Baskın Çetinay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Türker Samih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tuğrul Canal came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Bismil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tuğrul Canal couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Laleli FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bismil:s goal. Müjdat Sevimli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Türker Samih. Laleli FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Türker Samih came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bismil's Baskın Çetinay. But to his dismay, Baskın Çetinay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tuğrul Canal in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Türker Samih prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the match, Laleli FK's goal looked a bit too open when Baskın Çetinay came free, but Türker Samih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laleli FK's Türker Samih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baskın Çetinay in the 40th minute of play. Ufuk Sağan's late challenge caught a Bismil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ufuk Sağan helped the player get up and apologised. After the first half Bismil were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tuğrul Canal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Türker Samih showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuğrul Canal in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Laleli FK's goalkeeper Türker Samih, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If İnanç Dalan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 60 minutes into the game, when Ahmet Koralp Uğursal put in a rough tackle. In the 60th minute, one of Bismil:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bismil. The referee gave Laleli FK a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Efe Durhal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bismil's Aktaç Saffet. 1-3. After having played for 69 minutes, Baskın Çetinay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bismil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baskın Çetinay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laleli FK's Türker Samih proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Laleli FK from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Bismil's zone, Ahmet Hakan Pakel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aktaç Saffet came out of the goal and Ahmet Hakan Pakel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Baskın Çetinay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Bismil's Baskın Çetinay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Türker Samih narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ahmet Hakan Pakel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bismil played a much better game than Laleli FK and deserved their victory. The Laleli FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
