Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Özal Özerdinc in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orkun Çırağ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th match minute, BEŞİKTEPE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kılıçhan Karay to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Bozkurt İdil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Binali Karlukhan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 70thth minute of the game Ayberk Taci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BEŞİKTEPE's Orkun Çırağ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute, Turgay Yıldız hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Enginalp Paker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gassaray's supporters rose to their feet, but Enginalp Paker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orkun Çırağ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ali Çağrı Özonder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
