Abdülhak Ulvi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birant Saykut in the 13th minute of the match. After 14 minutes, Mecnun Güngör mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatasaray and the Andirin FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Mecnun Güngör. Birant Saykut struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Abdülhak Ulvi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andirin FK. When Atalay Doğay came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Andirin FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atalay Doğay couldn't finish the play. Afşin Irmak made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Gökberk Özender sent off a good shot on target. Afşin Irmak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Behram Özduru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Galatasaray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdülhak Ulvi should have stopped the shot. Afşin Irmak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behram Özduru in the 48th minute of play.

In the 81stth minute of the game Behram Özduru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Andirin FK's Afşin Irmak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Galatasaray's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
