The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leopoldo Eleder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Melih Cevdet Naim made a precise shot to the right of Mustafa Ekrem Vefa. Gayrettepe JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The Balıkesir SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafer Oğuzkan in the 79th minute of play forced Gayrettepe JK's goalkeeper Mustafa Ekrem Vefa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Gayrettepe JK defense, Leopoldo Eleder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Ekrem Vefa. Gayrettepe JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1.
