Atahan Nihat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of tekirdağ booed when Aliaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mümtaz Hanbeyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Aliaga's protests and gave Alphan Özkoc a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Alphan Özkoc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Buğrahan Özbilge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atahan Nihat in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute Necmettin Birhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buğrahan Özbilge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Necmettin Birhan was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Atahan Nihat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. tekirdağ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atahan Nihat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Buğrahan Özbilge successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aliaga's Buğrahan Özbilge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necmettin Birhan in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the match tekirdağ got a corner. Aliaga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Babür Karahan ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on tekirdağ's corner Babür Karahan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Buğrahan Özbilge quite easily take care of the ball. Atahan Nihats short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Buğrahan Özbilge to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Necmettin Birhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buğrahan Özbilge having to interfere. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aliaga's goalkeeper Buğrahan Özbilge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aliaga's Buğrahan Özbilge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Aliaga from getting a goal against them. After 93 minutes, Bedrettin Ahioğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aliaga and the tekirdağ players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Atahan Nihat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Necmettin Birhan might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Buğrahan Özbilge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Necmettin Birhan ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match was over tekirdağ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aliaga throughout the match.
