Seyfullah Alan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balamir Cihanser in the 20th minute of play. Seyfullah Alan made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Berker Rıza Sabri sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd match minute, G A Z i A N T E P SPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cemalettin Afşar to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Baran Alatay in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Talimhane JK's Cenk Perk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cenk Perk in the 28th minute of play forced G A Z i A N T E P SPOR's goalkeeper Seyfullah Alan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, one of Talimhane JK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for G A Z i A N T E P SPOR. Baran Alatay stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ahmet Ege Melik. 0-1. If Orhan Veli Mazhar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cemalettin Afşar during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Ege Melik showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Talimhane JK's Ahmet Ege Melik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgun Doğangün in the 48th minute of play. After the first half G A Z i A N T E P SPOR were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pekin Necdet was the one to do the kick off. Ahmet Ege Melik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pekin Necdet in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Refik Halit Dadaloğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seyfullah Küdüs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Balamir Cihanser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyfullah Alan having to interfere. Ahmet Ege Melik made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Olgun Doğangün sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyfullah Küdüs in the 69th minute of play forced G A Z i A N T E P SPOR's goalkeeper Seyfullah Alan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Ege Melik made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Olgun Doğangün sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Talimhane JK's goalkeeper Ahmet Ege Melik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olgun Doğangün. Talimhane JK's Ahmet Ege Melik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Talimhane JK from getting a goal against them. Balamir Cihanser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Talimhane JK lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
