After 5 played minutes Ömer Rıza Oral rounded GÖZTEPE's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After a rather tough play, Gülnar JK's Çakabey İlcan got a free kick in the 9th minute. GÖZTEPE's Beşir Tarancı couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gülnar JK. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İzzet Ömür in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Hakan Merih saved Gülnar JK from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Sertaç Ulusu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Gülnar JK fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Gülnar JK's Sertaç Ulusu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Gülnar JK booed when GÖZTEPE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Süreyya Yersel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Gülnar JK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Kaan Erginalp came free, but Ahmet Hakan Merih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 played minutes Gülnar JK got a freekick which was hit by Berkant Kutan. 32 minutes into the game, Ömer Rıza Oral recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erim Mesut. Ömer Rıza Oral showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After 40 played minutes GÖZTEPE got a freekick which was hit by Cüneyt Usalan. Erim Mesut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Rıza Oral, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

Ömer Rıza Oral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th minute Ali Kaan Erginalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Hakan Merih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Kaan Erginalp in the 60th minute of play forced Gülnar JK's goalkeeper Ahmet Hakan Merih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Kaan Erginalp in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ömer Rıza Oral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GÖZTEPE's Erim Mesut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sertaç Ulusu in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erim Mesut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute of the match Beşir Tarancı shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Hakan Merih showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in GÖZTEPE's zone, Sertaç Ulusu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erim Mesut came out of the goal and Sertaç Ulusu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GÖZTEPE's Erim Mesut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömer Rıza Oral in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gülnar JK fans cheered their team off the field, for while GÖZTEPE had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
