When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Seyfettin Cevher took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Barışcan Duran to make any attempt to save it. Flavio De Cesaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barışcan Duran having to interfere. Alibeyköy's Barışcan Duran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sertaç Ehlimen in the 17th minute of play. Barışcan Duran made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Kemalettin Olgunay sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute, Flavio De Cesaris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ünye fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Barışcan Duran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seyfettin Cevher in the 23rd minute of the match. Barışcan Duran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kemalettin Olgunay, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Seyfettin Cevher recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Barışcan Duran. Seyfettin Cevher showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Alibeyköy's Barışcan Duran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sertaç Ehlimen in the 37th minute of play. Kemalettin Olgunay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Barışcan Duran made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arda Ozan Özkut was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Alibeyköy defense, Kemalettin Olgunay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barışcan Duran. The Alibeyköy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barışcan Duran should have stopped the shot. Barışcan Duran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seyfettin Cevher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Halil Barbaros hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the game, Yağızalp Tunçkol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ünye's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alibeyköy the free kick. Yağızalp Tunçkol kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Ünye's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
