Braulio Osmundo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 16 played minutes Bozyazi got a freekick which was hit by Sergen Bozlak. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolga Menderes got free with Braulio Osmundo in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pekin Erakalın in the 26th minute of play forced Avcilar SK's goalkeeper Mehmet Bilge Sonay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Pekin Erakalın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bozyazi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pekin Erakalın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bozyazi's Braulio Osmundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Orhan Koçaslan in the 29th minute of play. If Pekin Erakalın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the game, Tolga Menderes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Braulio Osmundo. Tolga Menderes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Pekin Erakalın made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Arif Nihat Dokuzer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avcilar SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bozyazi the free kick. A collision led to Bozyazi getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sergen Bozlak hit a great ball. Braulio Osmundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Orhan Koçaslan in the 57th minute of play. Braulio Osmundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batu Şahinhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Bozyazi's Pekin Erakalın dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After 66 played minutes Avcilar SK got a freekick which was hit by Boğaçhan Suerdem. Bozyazi's supporters rose to their feet, but Hayri Bilgehan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Bilge Sonay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Avcilar SK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
