Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abdulmelik Neval started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osman Onuker in the 7th minute of play forced Cayyolu's goalkeeper Halit Ziya Dilsaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aydın Sani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Kutlualp Taygun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BEŞİKTAŞ's Songur Kunter got a free kick in the 10th minute. The supporters of Cayyolu booed when BEŞİKTAŞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Songur Kunter didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Murat Selim Kökşin in the 13th minute really tested Kutlualp Taygun's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Aydın Sani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutlualp Taygun having to interfere. Abdulmelik Neval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutlualp Taygun having to interfere. If Abdulmelik Neval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Cayyolu's Abdulmelik Neval dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Sufi Vedatoğulları sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Osman Onuker sped through Cayyolu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Halit Ziya Dilsaz. Aydın Sani struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Kutlualp Taygun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cayyolu.

BEŞİKTAŞ's Kutlualp Taygun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aydın Sani in the 60th minute of play. Sufi Vedatoğulları took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Halit Ziya Dilsaz. Halit Ziya Dilsaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Sufi Vedatoğulları fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Ziya Dilsaz having to interfere. The supporters of BEŞİKTAŞ booed when Cayyolu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilgaz Riva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Gürsel Özgenalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kutlualp Taygun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulmelik Neval in the 78th minute of play. Aydın Sani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutlualp Taygun having to interfere. BEŞİKTAŞ's Kutlualp Taygun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulmelik Neval in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Cayyolu's goal looked a bit too open when Osman Onuker came free, but Halit Ziya Dilsaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdulmelik Neval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Osman Onuker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. BEŞİKTAŞ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
