Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Décio Severo kicked off to start the match. Ramiz Honazlı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceyhun Özertan, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Gürün's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Karl-Johan Wallander fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Karagümrük getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Görkem Adıyaman hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Karagümrük's goal looked a bit too open when Rasim Sargınal came free, but Ramiz Honazlı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Kaan Rezzak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karagümrük's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gürün the free kick. After 39 played minutes Karagümrük got a freekick which was hit by Kaan Rezzak. Karagümrük's Ramiz Honazlı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceyhun Özertan in the 43rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Karagümrük defense, Ceyhun Özertan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiz Honazlı. The Karagümrük fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiz Honazlı should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ceyhun Özertan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kaan Rezzak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdurrahman Onatkan charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdurrahman Onatkan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Décio Severo in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mete Cangiray saved Gürün from getting behind. The supporters of Gürün booed when Karagümrük was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Görkem Adıyaman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Ceyhun Özertan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramiz Honazlı was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Karagümrük's Décio Severo suffered a concussion after 68 minutes and had to leave the field. When Cihan Uludoğan fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 75th minute, Filipe Valente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mete Cangiray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yalçın İnegöllü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramiz Honazlı didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rasim Sargınal went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 85 minutes into the match, Karagümrük's goalkeeper Ramiz Honazlı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rasim Sargınal. Karagümrük's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Ceyhun Özertan scored to the left of an out of position Ramiz Honazlı, making the score, 1-4. Duman Hikmettin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Karagümrük! In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Gürün. Ceyhun Özertan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ramiz Honazlı. 1-5. Karl-Johan Wallander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaan Rezzak hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. When the match was over Gürün could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Karagümrük throughout the match.
