In the 44th minute, Hayrullah Okatay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferman Maksum to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Birecik JK got a freekick which was hit by Hayrullah Okatay. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ferman Maksum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Birecik JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferman Maksum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Akgün Çol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferman Maksum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akgün Çol having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ferman Maksum's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Akgün Çol was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Akgün Çol, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 69 minutes, Sümer Selim mouthed his way into the referee's book. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferman Maksum couldn't finish the play. After recieving a nice pass, Birecik JK's Baykam Altuğ tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferman Maksum kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Akgün Çol. That made the score 0-2 in the 74 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferman Maksum in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Akgün Çol saved Kestel from getting behind. When Hayrullah Okatay came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Birecik JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hayrullah Okatay couldn't finish the play. If Hayrullah Okatay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birecik JK's Ferman Maksum got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Kestel fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Birecik JK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
