Savaşer Hasankeyf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ekrem Neval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Rahim Canatan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ANADOLU EFES SK's Ekrem Neval. Ekrem Neval was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rahim Canatan struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Ekrem Neval didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kandilli JK. Ali Nabi Şimşek made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Rıza Uskan sent off a good shot on target. Alkan İkram kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Kandilli JK's Cengiz Kulan got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to ANADOLU EFES SK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Alkan İkram hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Savaşer Hasankeyf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Savaşer Hasankeyf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Kandilli JK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Alim Özen hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Savaşer Hasankeyf was the one to do the kick off. 62 minutes into the match, Kandilli JK's goal looked a bit too open when Rıza Uskan came free, but Ali Nabi Şimşek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cengiz Kulan charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cengiz Kulan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Kandilli JK got a freekick which was hit by Rüştü Süngü. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Savaşer Hasankeyf got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in ANADOLU EFES SK's zone, Savaşer Hasankeyf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ekrem Neval came out of the goal and Savaşer Hasankeyf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Savaşer Hasankeyf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekrem Neval having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Savaşer Hasankeyf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rahim Canatan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Ekrem Neval skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Savaşer Hasankeyf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rahim Canatan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to ANADOLU EFES SK getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Esen Egesel hit a great ball. Many of Kandilli JK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Kandilli JK may have spent more time on the ball, but ANADOLU EFES SK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
