With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mirza Berksoy in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafa Hakan Sargan saved SAMSUNSPOR SK from getting behind. Ali Güralp Zeval showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göktürk Özcam, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Ali Güralp Zeval made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göktürk Özcam in the 31st minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Nurtekin Riayet got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ali Güralp Zeval showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlbey İrgun in the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Mirza Berksoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nigde FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mirza Berksoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Hakan Sargan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Nurtekin Riayet came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Nigde FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nurtekin Riayet couldn't finish the play. After having played for 45 minutes, Nurtekin Riayet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nigde FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nurtekin Riayet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mirza Berksoy made a kick off. İlbey İrgun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Güralp Zeval having to interfere. Ahmet Orhan Ülküm charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Orhan Ülküm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ahmet Orhan Ülküm hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes Nigde FK got a freekick which was hit by Ufuk Kılıçalp. In the 62nd minute Mirza Berksoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Hakan Sargan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İlbey İrgun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustafa Hakan Sargan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mirza Berksoy's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Nurtekin Riayet struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Mustafa Hakan Sargan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nigde FK. SAMSUNSPOR SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
