54 minutes into the match, Kocaelispor FK's goal looked a bit too open when Çetin Geylanoğullarından came free, but Refik Avcı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55thth minute of the game Karahan Nasih who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kocaelispor FK's Refik Avcı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Kocaelispor FK defense, Haluk Acarbay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Refik Avcı. The Kocaelispor FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Refik Avcı should have stopped the shot. Anıl Arda Aksun kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match.
