Esen Olgunsu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Balgat JK booed when Karacabey FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güntekin Cihaner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adem Maksum kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Esen Olgunsu came out of the goal and Adem Maksum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adem Dede in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esen Olgunsu saved Balgat JK from getting behind. 42 minutes into the game, Karacabey FK's Adem Maksum nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esen Olgunsu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 47 minutes, Altay Hiçsönmez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balgat JK and the Karacabey FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Balgat JK's Altay Hiçsönmez got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adem Dede to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Battal Gazi İzmirli during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 minutes of play Balgat JK's Altay Hiçsönmez was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mustafa Kemal Yavuzcan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Muhittin Turhan having to make a save. İsmail Orhun Mübarek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Balgat JK's Korkut Çolak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Muhittin Turhan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If İsmail Orhun Mübarek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esen Olgunsu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adem Maksum in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute Adem Dede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esen Olgunsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Batuğ Yazıcı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karacabey FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balgat JK the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Mustafa Kemal Yavuzcan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. İsmail Orhun Mübarek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhittin Turhan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adem Dede in the 77th minute of play forced Balgat JK's goalkeeper Esen Olgunsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Karacabey FK fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Karacabey FK's Adem Maksum looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Karacabey FK's Adem Dede got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adem Dede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Esen Olgunsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İsmail Orhun Mübarek took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Muhittin Turhan. Muhittin Turhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Esen Olgunsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adem Dede in the 97th minute of play.
