Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gökçen Ruhsat got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Edremit's goal looked a bit too open when Gökçen Ruhsat came free, but Özmen Nefi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aktuğ Vehbi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Özmen Nefi made a huge save. A collision led to Edremit getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Lütfi Argün hit a great ball. The supporters of Sariyer FK booed when Edremit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hulusi Temizkanoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Seyfi Tarhun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abayhan Bakır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aktuğ Vehbi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özmen Nefi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Edremit's Lütfi Argün got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 25th match minute, Sariyer FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Suphi Yasık to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match Çelik Yalazay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abayhan Bakır showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 30th minute, Lütfi Argün hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the game, Gökçen Ruhsat recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Özmen Nefi. Gökçen Ruhsat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 44th minute Edremit were awarded a corner. Çelik Yalazay went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Edremit's Çelik Yalazay to fire away a dangerous shot which Abayhan Bakır despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armağan Tunçhan to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Edremit's Seyfullah Asır slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abayhan Bakır. That made the score 1-1 after 53 minutes of play. Abayhan Bakır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armağan Tunçhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Armağan Tunçhan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abayhan Bakır came out and tried to block the shot, but Armağan Tunçhan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 59th minute. Suphi Yasık received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Özmen Nefi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Özmen Nefi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aktuğ Vehbi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 69th minute of the match Lütfi Argün completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lütfi Argün a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Edremit's Lütfi Argün got a free kick in the 70th minute. Aktuğ Vehbi might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Özmen Nefi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aktuğ Vehbi ran back to his position shaking his head. Özmen Nefi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aktuğ Vehbi in the 74th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sariyer FK's zone, Seyfi Tarhun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abayhan Bakır came out of the goal and Seyfi Tarhun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Aktuğ Vehbi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sariyer FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The supporters of Sariyer FK booed when Edremit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çelik Yalazay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sariyer FK's Abayhan Bakır proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Sariyer FK from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the game, Edremit's Seyfi Tarhun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abayhan Bakır made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Edremit's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
