Köksal Mehdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Emin Ünsevin in the 13th minute of play. Mehmet Emin Ünsevin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Köksal Mehdi having to interfere. Çakır Topçam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tibet Dolunay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Çakır Topçam in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Hamit Özgunay came free, but Tibet Dolunay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akgün Ayman in the 65th minute of play forced Antalya FC's goalkeeper Köksal Mehdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
