Abdulmelik Onay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th match minute, Trabzonspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeynel Pınar to maneuver through the defense. Hüsnü Tanaltan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asaf Karar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulmelik Onay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Ali Haydar Denizalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdulmelik Onay in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Asaf Karar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reis Koyak hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Hüsnü Tanaltan succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 33rd minute, Abdulmelik Onay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Halim Altıncığlu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Abdulmelik Onay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdulmelik Onay was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Abdulmelik Onay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Asaf Karar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After having played for 54 minutes, Hüsnü Tanaltan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trabzonspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hüsnü Tanaltan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ali Haydar Denizalp was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. Temel Hekimoğlu got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 59 played minutes Vize got a freekick which was hit by Temel Hekimoğlu. After 67 played minutes Trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Hüsnü Tanaltan. 73 minutes into the match, Hüsnü Tanaltan notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Vize's Asaf Karar. Asaf Karar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Trabzonspor getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Halim Altıncığlu hit a great ball. Hüsnü Tanaltan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Asaf Karar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arif Tugay Titiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's goal looked a bit too open when Aycan Engintalay came free, but Batıray Baykal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hüsnü Tanaltan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asaf Karar having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Trabzonspor fully deserved thier win.
