An unexpectedly hard shot by Sarper Balcıoğlu in the 94th minute of play forced Savastepe's goalkeeper Arif Buğra Özgenalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cevher Gürtuna got free with Arif Buğra Özgenalp in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
