The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ekrem Özbil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ekrem Özbil charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ekrem Özbil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, Ekrem Özbil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 played minutes, Arguvan's Meriç Ecemiş shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ali Faruk Çavlı came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arguvan reached it. A collision led to Arguvan getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Gökay Mücahit hit a great ball. After 63 minutes, Timur Tefhim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenerbahçe SK and the Arguvan players grew even worse after the yellow card.
