The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Ziya Hafızoğlu got free with Selçuk Yertan in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ahmet Ziya Hafızoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Bor FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Ziya Hafızoğlu couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Orhan Akdoğu in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Selçuk Yertan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ali Faruk Yeler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute of the match Yusuf Ziya Tekindağ sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Nafiz Ulun skillfully saved the ball. Bor FK's Ahmet Nafiz Ulun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pekin Demirtuğ in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pekin Demirtuğ made a kick off. Pekin Demirtuğ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Yatagan JK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
