Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ali Cengiz Resulhan started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Cengiz Resulhan in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serbülent Yolaç saved Yeniköy from getting behind. Serbülent Yolaç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mesut Özerek, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ali Cengiz Resulhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serbülent Yolaç having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Ürgüp SK's Reşit Uraltan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serbülent Yolaç narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute Ali Cengiz Resulhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serbülent Yolaç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ali Cengiz Resulhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Reşit Uraltan came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Ürgüp SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reşit Uraltan couldn't finish the play. Serbülent Yolaç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ayvaz Şemsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Reis Kuyas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çağrı Tüzüner in the 23rd minute of play. Reşit Uraltan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serbülent Yolaç having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Ali Cengiz Resulhan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Serbülent Yolaç was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Derya Erserim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Reis Kuyas. That made the score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play. In the 47th minute Ali Cengiz Resulhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serbülent Yolaç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Derya Erserim to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mesut Özerek got free with Serbülent Yolaç in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Yeniköy's zone, Reşit Uraltan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serbülent Yolaç came out of the goal and Reşit Uraltan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Cengiz Resulhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Ürgüp SK's Ali Cengiz Resulhan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Serbülent Yolaç. Serbülent Yolaç yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. If Reşit Uraltan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serbülent Yolaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mesut Özerek in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Ürgüp SK's Ali Cengiz Resulhan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Derya Erserim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reis Kuyas having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Ürgüp SK's Reşit Uraltan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Serbülent Yolaç. Serbülent Yolaç yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Ali Cengiz Resulhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Ürgüp SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Yeniköy throughout the match.
