Kahraman Biçimli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sadettin Çelenk came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Taksim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sadettin Çelenk couldn't finish the play. Akif Kutalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kahraman Biçimli in the 17th minute of the match. Kahraman Biçimli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akif Kutalp having to interfere. Akif Kutalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kahraman Biçimli, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Berke Özbilir kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Zülfikar Torkal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Necmi Hızır managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbahçe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Necmi Hızır was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boğaçhan İldemir hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Ergin Yüksel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mustafa Emre Ergüder skillfully saved the ball. Necmi Hızır blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mustafa Emre Ergüder having to make a save. Akif Kutalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kahraman Biçimli, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Kahraman Biçimli scored 0-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Akif Kutalp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kahraman Biçimli made a kick off. Mustafa Emre Ergüder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zülfikar Torkal in the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Kahraman Biçimli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taksim's supporters rose to their feet, but Kahraman Biçimli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Akif Kutalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Akif Kutalp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kahraman Biçimli's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd match minute, Fenerbahçe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferhan Cezar to maneuver through the defense. Sadettin Çelenk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berkay Kutertan kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Zülfikar Torkal notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Taksim's Mustafa Emre Ergüder. Taksim played a much better game than Fenerbahçe and deserved their victory. The Fenerbahçe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
