Spectators: 5050 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Duran Özerdal took the kick off in the first half of the match. Zülfikar Torkal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencalp Özerdim having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Karantina SK's goal looked a bit too open when Zülfikar Torkal came free, but Gencalp Özerdim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Zülfikar Torkal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gencalp Özerdim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karantina SK's Duran Özerdal got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duran Özerdal in the 31st minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Akif Kutalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Karantina SK's goal looked a bit too open when Zülfikar Torkal came free, but Gencalp Özerdim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match, Duran Özerdal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Akif Kutalp saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. İbrahim Efe Öztekin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Akif Kutalp skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fenerbahçe's Akif Kutalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Fenerbahçe from getting a goal against them. Fenerbahçe's Akif Kutalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duran Özerdal in the 45th minute of play. Akif Kutalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duran Özerdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Necmi Hızır was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Karantina SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ferhan Cezar came free, but Gencalp Özerdim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Akif Kutalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Efe Öztekin in the 53rd minute of play. If İbrahim Efe Öztekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Duran Özerdal came free, but Akif Kutalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe's Ferhan Cezar got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Abdullatif Vasfi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Mümin Ümit. Necmi Hızır recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Akif Kutalp came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Karantina SK's İbrahim Efe Öztekin. But to his dismay, İbrahim Efe Öztekin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Aygün Toktimur charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aygün Toktimur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by İbrahim Efe Öztekin in the 90th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Akif Kutalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zülfikar Torkal got free with Gencalp Özerdim in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gencalp Özerdim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Necmi Hızır, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
