In the 34th minute, Ahmet Nasir Bilgen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vahit Tekinsoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. A sloppy throw-in by Zaid Özatay in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by 19 Mayıs Belediyespor's Kadir Denizalp. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Yusufeli FK's goalkeeper Vahit Tekinsoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmet Refik İlkser got in the 44th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Vahit Tekinsoy handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Refik Ayalp took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vahit Tekinsoy. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and kaya Özal made a kick off. Ahmet Refik İlksers short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Vahit Tekinsoy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ahmet Refik İlkser who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Vahit Tekinsoy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vahit Tekinsoy was a little too slow when Refik Ayalp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-6. Yiğitcan Dürüst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yağızalp Işılay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Refik İlkser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute Refik Ayalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vahit Tekinsoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Yusufeli FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
