Bahce's Özkan Cevval played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arslan Umur in the 13th minute of play. Arif Nihat Samih struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Atilla Yıldıray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bahce. When Adil Baykal came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Bahce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adil Baykal couldn't finish the play. Arif Nihat Samih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilla Yıldıray having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Adil Baykal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bahce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FCKARABUKSPOR the free kick. In the 36th minute, Bahce's Oğuzalp Halıcıoğlu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Atilla Yıldıray. Atilla Yıldıray yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 39th match minute, Bahce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gürsel Tunçkılıç to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bahce getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Oğuzalp Halıcıoğlu hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Bahri Özbas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Özkan Cevval. The goal made the score 1-1. Arslan Umur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Özkan Cevval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Oğuzalp Halıcıoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atilla Yıldıray was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. FCKARABUKSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bahri Özbas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atilla Yıldıray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuzalp Halıcıoğlu in the 91st minute of the match. Arslan Umur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özkan Cevval having to interfere. The supporters of FCKARABUKSPOR booed when Bahce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adil Baykal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Bahce's Adil Baykal got a free kick in the 98th minute.
