The mut idman yurdu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arif Nihat Kutsalan should have stopped the shot. In the 45th minute of the match Haluk Baysal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arif Nihat Kutsalan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Aras Uçuk made the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dinçer Kamran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Arif Nihat Kutsalan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Serdar Sadullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vatan Helvacıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aras Uçuk in the 81st minute of the match. Serdar Sadullah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ataköy's Vatan Helvacıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aras Uçuk in the 96th minute of play.
