In the 2nd minute, Berkant Tancan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yahya Kemal Senih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arslan Ateşoğlu having to interfere. Çakabey Uyarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aktaç Kırman in the 18th minute of play. A hard shot 20 in the game by Afşar Ünal from a close distance when the talented Arslan Ateşoğlu managed to make a qualified save. Celtik's players were relieved. If Berkant Tancan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Celtik's Arslan Ateşoğlu got control of the ball when Afşar Ünal tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aktaç Kırman in the 27th minute of play forced Bostanli's goalkeeper Çakabey Uyarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fethi Bahçıvan during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Celtik's goalkeeper Arslan Ateşoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afşar Ünal. Çakabey Uyarel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aktaç Kırman's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Rauf Köker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rauf Köker made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Berkant Tancan made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Celtik's Arslan Ateşoğlu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Celtik's Çakabey Uyarel threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rauf Köker, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Bostanli booed when Celtik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kadim Uzalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bostanli's Çakabey Uyarel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Bostanli from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yahya Kemal Senih in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arslan Ateşoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kadim Uzalp during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Celtik getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Kadim Uzalp hit a great ball. Berkant Tancan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berkant Tancan might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arslan Ateşoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berkant Tancan ran back to his position shaking his head. Afşar Ünal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arslan Ateşoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Berkant Tancan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Celtik's Kadim Uzalp got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Ziya Tankoç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bostanli's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Afşar Ünal in the 82nd minute. Aktaç Kırman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Çakabey Uyarel made a huge save. Çakabey Uyarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rauf Köker, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Aktaç Kırman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celtik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Afşar Ünal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Arslan Ateşoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cafer Gürçınar charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cafer Gürçınar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th minute of the match Ahmet Ziya Elmas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arslan Ateşoğlu skillfully saved the ball. Despite being the better team, Bostanli failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
