Tahir Perva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enes Sarik in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Özdemir Özinal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Birsel Taşdan struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Okanalp Polathan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunedain Rangers. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cemalettin Sezer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ankaragücü FK getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Cemalettin Sezer hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Ankaragücü FK's goal looked a bit too open when Birsel Taşdan came free, but Okanalp Polathan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Ankaragücü FK's protests and gave Cemalettin Sezer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th match minute, Ankaragücü FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cemalettin Sezer to maneuver through the defense. Tahir Perva was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Karahan Hüryaşar.
