Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ali Nejat Tunçkurt came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gebze FK's Şensoy Kubilay. But to his dismay, Şensoy Kubilay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruhi Uçuk got free with Mümin Şahsuvar in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şensoy Kubilay in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Nejat Tunçkurt saved Nevsehir SK from getting behind. Mümin Şahsuvar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sabri Revan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. In the 26th minute Şensoy Kubilay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Nejat Tunçkurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Gaffar Zühtü got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mümin Şahsuvar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabri Revan, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Şensoy Kubilay took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ali Nejat Tunçkurt. Ali Nejat Tunçkurt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Gaffar Zühtü sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd match minute, Nevsehir SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vatan İşcan to maneuver through the defense. Gaffar Zühtü could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Ali Nejat Tunçkurt made a huge save. Şensoy Kubilay was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. Gebze FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Gebze FK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Mahmut Ekinci hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Nevsehir SK's Sabri Revan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mümin Şahsuvar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mümin Şahsuvar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabri Revan's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaffar Zühtü got free with Ali Nejat Tunçkurt in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vatan İşcan hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Gaffar Zühtü could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Ali Nejat Tunçkurt made a huge save. Yakup Kadri Ayalp charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yakup Kadri Ayalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Yakup Kadri Ayalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruhi Uçuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Şensoy Kubilay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
