The audience thought a goal was coming when Alim Yazıcıoğlu got free with Şadi Tevfik in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the game, Alim Yazıcıoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Şadi Tevfik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 79 minutes, Alim Yazıcıoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OquzhanKC and the Fener Bahçe players grew even worse after the yellow card.
