With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bektaş Açıker in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Süleyman Tengizalp saved Hatay SK from getting behind. Aygün İpekçi struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Süleyman Tengizalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erzincan. Enis Behiç Bahadır kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 played minutes, Erzincan's Devlet Sezgin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Süleyman Tengizalp came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Erzincan reached it. Erzincan's Bektaş Açıker got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Utku Yeğin charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Devlet Sezgin during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erzincan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
