Belen FK's Akgün Necip got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Akgün Necip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Basri Davarcı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belen FK's Afşar Çakıroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Recep Sağlamtürk in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, one of Belen FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave ÇorumSpor a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aşık Bilgetürk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Belen FK's Afşar Çakıroğlu. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Caner Sudi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basri Davarcı was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Akgün Necip managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belen FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Akgün Necip was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basri Davarcı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caner Sudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basri Davarcı having to interfere. ÇorumSpor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belen FK the free kick. A collision led to ÇorumSpor getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Fuat Buğra hit a great ball. In the 44th minute of the match İsmail Ömer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basri Davarcı showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 54th minute ÇorumSpor were awarded a corner. Aşık Bilgetürk went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led ÇorumSpor's Aşık Bilgetürk to fire away a dangerous shot which Afşar Çakıroğlu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aşık Bilgetürk got in the 54th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Afşar Çakıroğlu and thus it was 1-2. Meriç Kayrak's late challenge caught a Belen FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Meriç Kayrak helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Meriç Kayrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basri Davarcı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caner Sudi in the 58th minute of play. Afşar Çakıroğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Recep Sağlamtürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caner Sudi in the 73rd minute of play forced ÇorumSpor's goalkeeper Basri Davarcı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Akgün Necip left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belen FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Ziya Şafakgün took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Afşar Çakıroğlu to make any attempt to save it. Eyüp Can kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Basri Davarcı came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Belen FK's Caner Sudi. But to his dismay, Caner Sudi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3.
