Refik Akbayrak came out and tried to block the shot, but Genaro Abella slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. After 31 played minutes ANKARAGÜCÜ got a freekick which was hit by Bedir Yönet. Refik Akbayrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lütfü Türcan in the 41st minute of the match. Mustafa Arif Özertem hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Refik Akbayrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lütfü Türcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
