The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teoman Akıncıs short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Hazar Han to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hamit Suergin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Şefik Vahap in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match Şener Kutlubay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hamit Suergin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mehmet Halis Avcı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the game, Mehmet Şefik Vahap cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hamit Suergin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hamit Suergin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Şefik Vahap in the 18th minute of play. 24 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Cildir's Mehmet Halis Avcı fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The supporters of Cildir booed when ManiacsArmy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Müfit Okutman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abay Şahsuvar charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abay Şahsuvar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Cildir. Ahmet Asım Ruşen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hamit Suergin. 0-2. Hamit Suergin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Halis Avcı in the 32nd minute of play. Mehmet Halis Avcı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Hamit Suergin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ManiacsArmy's zone, Mehmet Şefik Vahap stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamit Suergin came out of the goal and Mehmet Şefik Vahap tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kamuran Baykal was the one to do the kick off. Hamit Suergin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mehmet Şefik Vahap showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 52 minute of play. Kamuran Baykal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hazar Han having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Teoman Akıncı notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Cildir's Hazar Han. Hazar Han was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The long shot by Göktan Canatan in the 67th minute really tested Hamit Suergin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Teoman Akıncı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hazar Han having to interfere. If Mehmet Şefik Vahap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cildir's Mehmet Halis Avcı got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hamit Suergin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehmet Halis Avcı in the 86th minute. Teoman Akıncı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Hazar Han tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Teoman Akıncı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ManiacsArmy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teoman Akıncı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, Giray Burçak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Halis Avcı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Hamit Suergin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ManiacsArmy getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Hasan Hüseyin Ersezen hit a great ball. Ahmet Asım Ruşen's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Hamit Suergin on his right side and into the goal. 98 minutes into the game it was 1-4.
