The Gülyali FK fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Gülyali FK's Ersan Kılıçdaroğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A hard shot 21 in the game by Hasan Ali Şinasi from a close distance when the talented Sacit Cilasun managed to make a qualified save. Yomra's players were relieved. Gülyali FK's Ersan Kılıçdaroğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peker Zikri took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kahraman Ökmen. Kahraman Ökmen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yomra's goalkeeper Sacit Cilasun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kahraman Ökmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peker Zikri in the 30th minute of play. Karadeniz Has sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gülyali FK's zone, Peker Zikri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kahraman Ökmen came out of the goal and Peker Zikri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ersan Kılıçdaroğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sacit Cilasun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. If Peker Zikri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hasan Ali Şinasi hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. If Karadeniz Has had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Gülyali FK defense, Peker Zikri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kahraman Ökmen. The Gülyali FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kahraman Ökmen should have stopped the shot. After the first half Yomra were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peker Zikri to make the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Yomra's goalkeeper Sacit Cilasun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ersan Kılıçdaroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55thth minute of the game Hasan Ali Şinasi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yomra's Sacit Cilasun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute, Babür Süleyman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gülyali FK's Kahraman Ökmen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Gülyali FK from getting a goal against them. Ersan Kılıçdaroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kahraman Ökmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peker Zikri in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Gülyali FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batıray İlseven to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Yomra's Karadeniz Has got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Hasan Ali Şinasi might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sacit Cilasun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hasan Ali Şinasi ran back to his position shaking his head. Sacit Cilasun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hasan Ali Şinasi's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Peker Zikri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karadeniz Has received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Kahraman Ökmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atakan Hicran hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Yomra's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
