The referee showed Ahmet Çağrı Koray the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aktuğ Yağızkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sezgin İdrisoğlu having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Körfez got a freekick which was hit by Ramiz Yaygır. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Halil Okyanus during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Körfez defense, Aktuğ Yağızkan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sezgin İdrisoğlu. The Körfez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sezgin İdrisoğlu should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the game, Tansu Yağıztekin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inebolu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Körfez the free kick. Rıdvan Ulukaan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sezgin İdrisoğlu came out and tried to block the shot, but Rıdvan Ulukaan slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes of play, Inebolu's Rıdvan Ulukaan made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sezgin İdrisoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Aktuğ Yağızkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inebolu's supporters rose to their feet, but Aktuğ Yağızkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sezgin İdrisoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 41 minutes, Rıdvan Ulukaan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inebolu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rıdvan Ulukaan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Inebolu booed when Körfez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiz Yaygır didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sezgin İdrisoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıdvan Ulukaan in the 46th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Aktuğ Yağızkan could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Sezgin İdrisoğlu however easily saved by the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramiz Yaygır to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aktuğ Yağızkan in the 52nd minute of play forced Körfez's goalkeeper Sezgin İdrisoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rıdvan Ulukaan struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Sezgin İdrisoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inebolu. Ramiz Yaygır's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Altuğ Yılğıralp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.
