Derviş Abanoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Sihhiye JK's goalkeeper Derviş Abanoz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdi Mehmet Yıldıray. The crowd rose to their feet as Göztepe FK's Abdi Mehmet Yıldıray slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Derviş Abanoz. That made the score 1-1 after 32 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sihhiye JK's zone, Abdi Mehmet Yıldıray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Derviş Abanoz came out of the goal and Abdi Mehmet Yıldıray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Göztepe FK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Yaser Polatkılıç hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yiğit Altıparmak was the one to do the kick off.
