The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gürhan Tanuğur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güney Temizkanoğlu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Yasin Recai managed to get in a good position for a shot. TannuX's supporters rose to their feet, but Yasin Recai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yunus Onat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sergen Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, Yasin Recai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Yunus Onat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 15 played minutes Heybeliada got a freekick which was hit by Semavi Aytekin. Yasin Recai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yunus Onat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Ahmet Rıfat Şenyaşar might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yunus Onat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Rıfat Şenyaşar ran back to his position shaking his head. Kerimhan Perker charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kerimhan Perker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Sergen Tan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Heybeliada defense, Yasin Recai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yunus Onat. The Heybeliada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yunus Onat should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute Yasin Recai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yunus Onat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TannuX's Yasin Recai got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 35 played minutes Heybeliada got a freekick which was hit by Battal Cüneyt Yavuzcan. The supporters of TannuX booed when Heybeliada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erim Kunter didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gürhan Tanuğur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Yasin Recai reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yunus Onat. The goal made the score 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gürhan Tanuğur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Ahmet Rıfat Şenyaşar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TannuX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Rıfat Şenyaşar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. TannuX's Yasin Recai got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yasin Recai struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Yunus Onat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TannuX. After a defensive mix-up in Heybeliada's zone, Ahmet Rıfat Şenyaşar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yunus Onat came out of the goal and Ahmet Rıfat Şenyaşar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yunus Onat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yasin Recai in the 70th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Heybeliada's zone, Ahmet Rıfat Şenyaşar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yunus Onat came out of the goal and Ahmet Rıfat Şenyaşar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Heybeliada defense, Yasin Recai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yunus Onat. Güney Temizkanoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürhan Tanuğur in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Heybeliada's goal looked a bit too open when Yasin Recai came free, but Yunus Onat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Yasin Recai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yasin Recai in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yunus Onat saved Heybeliada from getting behind. The TannuX fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when TannuX's Yasin Recai looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 90th minute, Yasin Recai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Rıfat Şenyaşar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
