Tokat's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orhan Seyfi Zaim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Tokat getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. After a rather tough play, KUZAYCA FC's Mehmet Çağrı Boranalp got a free kick in the 31st minute. Çeliker Orbey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orhan Seyfi Zaim, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Ferit Özgur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çeliker Orbey having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and İshak Gündoğan made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Orhan Seyfi Zaim managed to get in a good position for a shot. KUZAYCA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Orhan Seyfi Zaim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Çeliker Orbey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tokat's Çeliker Orbey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Tokat from getting a goal against them. Tokat's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Mehmet Çağrı Boranalp scored to the left of an out of position Çeliker Orbey, making the score, 1-3.
