Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yavuz Selim Harmandalı ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute Yavuz Selim Harmandalı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartlomiej Laskowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Muzaffer Okaner fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tozanlı Deresi's protests and gave Muzaffer Okaner a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Tozanlı Deresi got a freekick which was hit by Muzaffer Okaner. In the 16th minute of the match Vahdet Kökşin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bartlomiej Laskowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Haşim Hastimur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Aktaç Sezai made a huge save. Hazım Ulusoy scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bartlomiej Laskowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aktaç Sezai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fazıl Akın, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Yavuz Selim Harmandalı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartlomiej Laskowski was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fazıl Akın in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aktaç Sezai saved Gördes from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Tozanlı Deresi's zone, Hazım Ulusoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartlomiej Laskowski came out of the goal and Hazım Ulusoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hazım Ulusoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tozanlı Deresi's Mustafa Hamit Ergenç got a free kick in the 45th minute. Mümtazer Ertüze kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Tozanlı Deresi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gördes were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Hazım Ulusoy made the kick off in the second half. Hazım Ulusoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartlomiej Laskowski having to interfere. In the 59th minute Fazıl Akın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aktaç Sezai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Yavuz Selim Harmandalı notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Tozanlı Deresi's Bartlomiej Laskowski. Bartlomiej Laskowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aktaç Sezai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fazıl Akın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Haşim Hastimur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tozanlı Deresi's supporters rose to their feet, but Haşim Hastimur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aktaç Sezai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hazım Ulusoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Bartlomiej Laskowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Vahdet Kökşin in the 78th minute really tested Bartlomiej Laskowski's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Aktaç Sezai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haşim Hastimur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haşim Hastimur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gördes's Hazım Ulusoy got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Gördes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gördes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
