Aktan Sualp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 7 played minutes Üzeyir Yalaza rounded Saphane's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 11th minute Ahmet Korcan Ongunsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aktan Sualp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes Amed Spor got a freekick which was hit by Bekir Karan. In the 20th minute, Ahmet Korcan Ongunsu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saphane fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Bekir Karan kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Aktan Sualp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remzi Balabey went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Korcan Ongunsu in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aktan Sualp saved Amed Spor from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Korcan Ongunsu in the 32nd minute of play forced Amed Spor's goalkeeper Aktan Sualp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Remzi Balabey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Ahmet Korcan Ongunsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saphane's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Korcan Ongunsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aktan Sualp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Hakan Elçioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Üzeyir Yalaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Saphane were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ahmet Hakan Güleryüz charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Hakan Güleryüz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remzi Balabey got free with Aktan Sualp in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aktan Sualp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saphane. After having played for 80 minutes, Ahmet Hakan Güleryüz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amed Spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Hakan Güleryüz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aktan Sualp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Korcan Ongunsu's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Saphane booed when Amed Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bekir Karan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Amed Spor's goalkeeper Aktan Sualp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remzi Balabey. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Ahmet Hakan Güleryüz managed to get in a good position for a shot.
