In the 4th match minute, YERMEZ SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Ekeberg to maneuver through the defense. Bayram Ateşoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fikret Akpolat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayram Ateşoğlu made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Ziya Özçelik sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Fikret Akpolat took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bayram Ateşoğlu to make any attempt to save it. GALATASARAY's Bayram Ateşoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fikret Akpolat in the 17th minute of play. Bayram Ateşoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Ekeberg in the 20th minute of the match. Ahmet Hakan Acartürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alpertunga Titiz in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fikret Akpolat in the 23rd minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Bayram Ateşoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bayram Ateşoğlu came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by YERMEZ SK's Joel Ekeberg. But to his dismay, Joel Ekeberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebati Ciner during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sebati Ciner hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. GALATASARAY's Sebati Ciner got his second yellow card of the match in the 31st minute. The referee ordered Sebati Ciner off the ground. In the 32nd match minute, GALATASARAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebati Ciner to maneuver through the defense. Fikret Akpolat struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Bayram Ateşoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YERMEZ SK. Bayram Ateşoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Ekeberg in the 36th minute. GALATASARAY's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Joel Ekeberg scored to the left of an out of position Bayram Ateşoğlu, making the score, 3-0. Fikret Akpolat's late challenge caught a GALATASARAY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fikret Akpolat helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes YERMEZ SK got a freekick which was hit by Fikret Akpolat.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alpertunga Titiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Fikret Akpolat came free, but Bayram Ateşoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to YERMEZ SK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Kazimierz Piglowski hit a great ball. Ahmet Hakan Acartürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwin Avalos in the 63rd minute of play. After 63 played minutes YERMEZ SK got a freekick which was hit by Ziya Özçelik. Ahmet Hakan Acartürk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alpertunga Titiz went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Alpertunga Titiz hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. YERMEZ SK's Ahmet Hakan Acartürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Çelebi Bayer in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to YERMEZ SK getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ziya Özçelik hit a great ball. Ahmet Hakan Acartürk acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Erwin Avalos. After having played for 85 minutes, Alpertunga Titiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alpertunga Titiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. YERMEZ SK had won after a very even match.
