With his leg Bumin Atılay managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Köprübasi's Şafak Baler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Şafak Baler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şafak Baler's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Bumin Atılay skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. But to his dismay, Abay Sökmensu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After having played for 87 minutes, Şafak Baler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köprübasi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şafak Baler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özden Bahar in the 94th minute of play forced Gargi's goalkeeper Bumin Atılay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
