Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Can Uzgoren got the match started through his kick off. If Ünsal Tacik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 12 minutes, Alkın Yüce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denizlispor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alkın Yüce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Göktürk Akgül in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ata Yergin saved Erzin from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Namık Kemal Cevher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alkın Yüce took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ata Yergin. Erzin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 25 played minutes Erzin got a freekick which was hit by Vedat Pekdeger. Ahmet Gündüz Saatçioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vedat Pekdeger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Denizlispor's Alkın Yüce got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ahmet Gündüz Saatçioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Can Uzgoren, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Ahmet Gündüz Saatçioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Can Uzgoren, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sercan Kabakçı got free with Ahmet Gündüz Saatçioğlu in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Erzin getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rüknettin Şimşek hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Göktürk Akgül was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Erzin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Battal Gazi Şenel to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Erzin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Denizlispor:s goal. In the 65th minute Sercan Kabakçı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Gündüz Saatçioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Alkın Yüce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Denizlispor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Sercan Kabakçı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Gündüz Saatçioğlu having to interfere. The Erzin fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Denizlispor were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
