The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Recai Çoğa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Reşat Ünver made a huge save. In the 9th match minute, Ovacik FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aybar Çelik to maneuver through the defense. Enis Özgulec hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Güvenç Avşar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Recai Çoğa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eskihisar's supporters rose to their feet, but Recai Çoğa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reşat Ünver breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Ovacik FK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Arif Buğra Baytugay hit a great ball. When Arif Buğra Baytugay fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ovacik FK's protests and gave Arif Buğra Baytugay a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Ovacik FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Eskihisar:s goal. Enis Özgulec hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes Ovacik FK got a freekick which was hit by Aybar Çelik. If Güvenç Avşar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Eskihisar booed when Ovacik FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korcan Şensal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eskihisar's Vahap Kunter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berke Olguner in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Saffet Boranalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reşat Ünver having to interfere. When Recai Çoğa came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Eskihisar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Recai Çoğa couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the game, Baransel Çelikkan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ovacik FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eskihisar the free kick. In the 63rd minute, Baransel Çelikkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Güvenç Avşar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Vahap Kunter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Eskihisar's goal looked a bit too open when Berke Olguner came free, but Vahap Kunter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reşat Ünver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saffet Boranalp in the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Ovacik FK getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Enis Özgulec hit a great ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Recai Çoğa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eskihisar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Recai Çoğa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eskihisar's Saffet Boranalp got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Güvenç Avşar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Güvenç Avşar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Vahap Kunter made a huge save. In the 95th match minute, Eskihisar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gürhan Mete to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
