With an extended leg and a bit of luck İlyas Bedi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, Esrefhoca FK's goal looked a bit too open when Abayhan Yerhum came free, but Altay Mirac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Bergama's İlyas Bedi got control of the ball when Reşit Mücip tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bergama's İlyas Bedi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asaf Şahbey in the 35th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Reşit Mücip was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esrefhoca FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bergama the free kick. The supporters of Bergama booed when Esrefhoca FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reşit Mücip didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abayhan Yerhum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Altay Mirac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Asaf Şahbey to make the kick off. Abayhan Yerhum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asaf Şahbey struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. İlyas Bedi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esrefhoca FK. The audience was convinced that Şerif Eroğul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but İlyas Bedi was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Asaf Şahbey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İlyas Bedi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Altay Mirac. Bergama were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Esrefhoca FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Orhan Akağan took the corner. In the 95th minute Asaf Şahbey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İlyas Bedi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 99 played minutes Esrefhoca FK got a freekick which was hit by Reşit Mücip. After recieving a nice pass, Bergama's Orhan Akağan tried to score from far away in the 100th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Bergama players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Esrefhoca FK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
